Naadam Festival Event Program – Mongolia

Experience Mongolia’s National Festival: Naadam
Celebrate the heart of Mongolian culture with the Naadam Festival, held every July. Known as the “Three Manly Games,” Naadam combines traditional wrestling, horse racing, and archery with rich cultural experiences, music, dance, and local cuisine.

Event Package – 3 Days

Day 1: Opening Ceremony & Cultural Immersion

• Morning: Welcome breakfast with traditional Mongolian foods
• 10:00 – 12:00: Official opening ceremony at Sukhbaatar Square, Ulaanbaatar
• 12:00 – 13:30: Parade of traditional costumes, horsemen, and dancers
• 14:00 – 16:00: Folk music and dance performances
• 16:30 – 18:00: Naadam-themed workshops: calligraphy, traditional instruments
• Evening: Gala dinner with live performances

Day 2: The Three Manly Games

• 07:00 – 09:00: Morning meditation or optional walking tour
• 09:30 – 12:30: Traditional Mongolian wrestling (Bökh) competitions
• 13:00 – 15:00: Archery demonstrations and interactive experience
• 15:30 – 18:00: Horse racing on Naadam tracks
• 18:30 – 20:00: Awards ceremony for wrestling, archery, and horse racing winners
• Evening: Cultural performances: Khoomei (throat singing) and folk dances

Day 3: Cultural Exploration & Closing

Morning: Breakfast and optional photo tour of Ulaanbaatar

• 10:00 – 12:00: Visit local crafts markets, interact with artisans
• 12:30 – 14:00: Workshops on Mongolian felt-making, traditional clothing, and horse gear
• 14:30 – 16:00: Free time or sightseeing in historic city center
• 16:30 – 17:30: Closing parade and farewell speeches
• Evening: Optional farewell dinner
